The Newsletter Behind the Paintings

Disclosure. Sapiens Verbum is a Kit affiliate. If you start a Kit account through links on this page, we may earn a commission. It does not change the price you pay. We use Kit for our own list; that is the only reason it is here.

The videos are ten minutes. The paintings are four hundred years of politics, money, restoration, and a detail the wall label skips. The newsletter is where the rest of the story goes.

One note when a new essay is published. No daily digest, no product blast. If you already watch the channel, this is the same project on the page: the fact that had to be checked, the print if you want to live with the picture, the next painting in the queue.

The tool behind it

The form on this site, and the letters that follow it, run on Kit. We picked it because it stays out of the way: a form that does not fight the layout, a list that does not live inside YouTube or Instagram, and a writing window that is enough when the publishing rhythm is uneven.

If you also keep a channel, a shop, or a studio list, the free plan is enough to start. We are not selling a course and there is no setup to buy from us — only the same tool we already use.

If you need a list of your own, start with Kit.
